Ever wondered what’s it like to be an event designer, not just a planner? Do you want to turn your event business into a one-stop-shop? Here are some tips that can help…
Continued learning is important
If you want to make an event successful, it doesn’t just happen with magic, you need to learn the tools and foundation. If you learn it, you can learn it.
What is Event Design?
Event designing is the process of incorporating beautiful, yet aesthetic elements, that help support the theme of your event. As an event designer, your responsibility is to take your attendees, on a journey, which they can enjoy and cherish the day. It’s like carefully curating a story with a happy ending.
Keep the target audience in mind
While designing an event you must ensure to keep the target audience in mind. If you’re designing a birthday party for a 13-year-old boy, the target audience would be a teenager and incorporating a floral design won’t fit there, however, if it’s a wedding, then floral designing becomes a must. Every event is unique and having the target audience in mind is a key first step in overall planning.
The event should be designed as per the given timeframe. If the event lasts more then a day, and it includes flowers, then they should be the ones who can remain hydrated for a longer period and if an event occurs in the night, it will require lights and a night theme, so timing is important.
Stay Within Budget
Lastly, always keep the budget in mind when designing an event. If the budget is set low, you cannot aim for fancy, extravagant or luxurious decorations, instead, go with simple, yet elegant and graceful designs that are pocket-friendly. Otherwise, the event will turn into a loss for you.
